On April 10, 2019, Blossoms of Hope dedicated 2 Kwanzan Cherry Trees in the Howard Complex to Jim and Janet Robey.
Several board members were able to partake in the celebration of the Cherry Blossoms with Blossoms of Hope Cherry Blossom Princess, Emily Przyborowski and Social Secretary to the Japanese Ambassador, Kiyomi Buker.
On April 2, 2019, Howard Hughes partnered with Blossoms of Hope, EcoWorks, Columbia Association, Downtown Columbia Partnership in planting 100 Kwanzan Cherry and Dogwood trees in the Merriweather district.
