The Lord has given me a vision. This vision is a mission of Love for the Orphans of Romania, called Blossoms of Hope. Blossoms of Hope is a Non-denominational Christian Association, which was established in Romania in 2003, and will be registered in Canada in 2006.

It began when I was on a short term mission trip to Romania. I visited a little village called Tigveni and there I lost my heart. They were poor, they were lost. They were hungry. They had nothing. We spoke about Jesus but they had never heard about Him. I was shocked; this was the first time I had ever been in a place where NO ONE knew the name "Jesus". I realized that somehow I had to help.

For the next 3 years I would spend time in Romania, getting to know the purpose for which God was calling me. I became acquainted with small home and state orphanages and their orphans. I would visit the orphans living on the streets and train stations, taking them food and water but more importantly planting seeds of hope in the name of Jesus.

Orphans are outcasts of society and their life is one of suffering. They live in orphanages or on the street. Their schooling is minimal and finding a job is very difficult. Begging and stealing for food, money and clothing becomes a way of life for some and eventually this path leads to jail. There is no one to take care of them or help them get started in life. It is only God that can make sense out of this senselessness. He has a hope and a future for each one of his precious children.

I believe God has sent me to help the poor and weak of heart - the Orphans of Romania. A piece of property in Bailesti has already been purchased and our goal is to start building an orphanage for infants (God willing) as of May, 2007.

The goal of this mission is to establish and provide "Christian Home Orphanages". We pray to awaken their spiritual relationship with God and to help provide for their physical needs of housing, food, clothing and education. Also, we endeavor to training them in life skills required to be able to function in their world, be prosperous and to share the love of God.

To make this become a reality, we need your help. I would be happy to speak in your church, to your woman's groups or mission conferences. If you feel God is leading you in this way please contact us at info@blossomsofhope.org or call us at 519-369-8300.
