Other Fun Cherrybration Events
Along with our main events, Blossoms of Hope sponsors and participates in numerous other fun Cherrybration events. From animals to art to athletics to shopping, we had a full Cherrybration season!
Healing Hands / Letters of Inspiration - April 7, 2017
Blossoms of Hope was one of the sponsors at this amazing event. Some of Howard County's finest artist competed in this year's art show, the theme being Healing Hands/Letters of Inspiration.
Each visual work of art was paired with a writing by a local author. The reception on April 7th did not disappoint. The center was filled with friends and family.
Clark's Elioak Cherrybration Weekend April 8 - 9
Blossom of Hope took part in Clark's Cherrybration weekend by providing crafts and helping young girls and boys dress up as princesses for free hayrides. Not only did we have kids do some fun and interesting crafts, we had the Centennial National Honor Society help us with all of the kids.
While Saturday was a bit chilly, many kids enjoyed coming in out of the cold to make animal kite socks and pet rocks. Sunday warmed up tremendously with new kids back to check out the animals.
We were able to hold newborn baby goats and walk around with Princess Cherrybration. If you missed us last year, we plan to be back next year!
Pretty In Pink at Turf Valley Resort - April 14
The day kicked off with amazing vendors throughout the banquet hall. There were so many amazing things being sold, almost no one went home empty-handed!
Next we had a delicious lunch, pink champagne and all. Turf Valley does an incredible job with food, service and accommodating everyone's needs.
No one had a dry eye during the fashion show showcasing cancer survivors. Beautiful women and children strutted down the runway and showed off different outfits.
If you haven't been before, make sure to check it out in 2018!
Savage Mills and Terrapin Adventures Cherrybration Weekend - April 22 - 23
Both the Savage Mills shopping area and Terrapin Adventures celebrated Cherrybration late in April. Sunday at Terrapin Adventures was topped off with Cherry Pie!!
Hills of Milltown 5K
Early on Mother's Day morning, runners came out in force to conquer the hills of Ellicott City. Who knew there were so many killer hills?! We were impressed with the energy and smiles as they reached us at the Patapsco Female Institute at the very top. Congrats to all of the runners and walkers!
Teri Rizutti's Art Show at Aida Bistro
Throughout the entire Cherrybration season, Blossoms of Hope sold raffle tickets for a chance to win a giclee of one of Teri Rizutti's works of art. The giclee, "Cherrybration," was donated by her husband, Joe Tabeling.
Teri's art work was on display at Aida Bistro and Wine Bar from April through June. A reception was held on May 22nd to meet Joe Tabeling and pick the winner of the giclee.
