Teri Rizzutti Cherrybration Art Show and Reception

Teri Rizzutti's art will be on display and for sale at AIDA Bistro and Wine Bar from Tuesday, March 28th through the end of May, 2017.  Teri lost her battle with cancer in 2011.  She painted a beautiful work of art entitled "Cherrybration" for Blossoms of Hope.

Blossoms of Hope board members and Joe Tabeling, Teri’s husband, will be attending for a Reception on Monday, May 22nd, starting at 3:30pm.  Please come to meet Joe and enjoy Teri's work.  

AIDA Bistro will provide complimentary appetizers during the Reception with Happy Hour pricing on Wine On Tap.

Raffle tickets for a 24" x 36" giclee' of "Cherrybration" are available online.  Buy 1 for $10 or 3 for $25.  All proceeds go to Blossoms of Hope.  The winner will be drawn at the reception, you do not need to be present to win.   Click here for raffle tickets.

This 7th Annual, Hills of Milltown 5K Challenge, is presented by the Ellicott City Partnership (ECP) to benefit beautification projects in the historic district of Ellicott City and Blossoms of Hope in support of the Claudia Mayer/Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center at Howard County General Hospital.

Runners may also register on Race Day starting at 7 a.m. at the start located behind the Log Cabin at the corner of Ellicott Mills Drive and Main Street in Parking Lot F. 

Race start at 8:00 am SHARP!

Post race party and runner awards on the Courtyards of the Little French Market Cafe, Scoop-AHH-Dee-Doo Ice Cream & River House Pizza Co at 9:30 am.

Celebrate Howard County’s "Cherrybration Days" at Clark's Elioak farm with lots of pink pizzazz. All children in a family will get a free hay ride if at least one person in the family is dressed as a pink princess.  Children may also dress up in princess gowns we have at the farm for a photo opportunity with "Princess Cherrybella". 

To round out our weekend of activities, Martha Clark will sign copies of the book, The Enchanted Forest: Memories of Maryland’s Storybook Park on Sat and Sun 10 AM to 2 PM.  Think pink!!! Gem mining and geode cracking, too.

Help us begin our busy Cherrybration Season at our annual Cherrybration Kick-off!  There will be appetizers and drinks from some of the restaurants who participated in Pink Plates last year, including AIDA Bistro, Centre Park Grill and Iron Bridge Wine Company.  Join us as we tour the Claudia Mayer/Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center at Howard County General Hospital.  Network with other Blossoms of Hope supporters.

Music will be provided by The Anatares Musicians.

This event invites citizens, local businesses, and community activists together with the merchants, small business owners, employees, and artists displaced by the flood with a primary goal of matching employers with potential employees. We invite you to join us in any way possible, whether it is as an employer, donor, supporter, or job seeker.

Now in it's seventh year, the goal of this annual theme exhibition is to raise awareness and funds for The Claudia Mayer/Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center (CMTBCRC) of Howard County General Hospital. Proceeds from the gallery show entry fees and sales will go to Blossoms of Hope in honor of the CMTBCRC.

A gala reception and awards ceremony will be held on Friday, April 8th, 6-8pm.  The evening event will include an awards presentation, poetry reading, and a musical performance. This exhibition is one of a series of events presented by Blossoms of Hope each spring during Howard County Cherrybration Days.

“Portraits and Profiles: Inspirations In My Life” Columbia Art Center Reception

The Columbia Art Center Galleries and Howard County Tourism & Promotion’s Blossoms of Hope are proud to present Portraits and Profiles: Inspirations In My Life, an invitational theme exhibition, which runs April 16-May 3, 2015 in the Columbia Art Center Galleries.

More than 45 artists are participating in the exhibit.  The 2015 theme honors those persons who have served as inspirations. Some works are tributes to people who have dealt with various life and health challenges in a heroic manner, and other works celebrate people who have served as positive role models.

Now in it's sixth year, The goal of this annual theme exhibition is to help raise awareness about and funds for The Claudia Mayer/Tina Broccolino Cancer Resource Center of Howard County General Hospital. Proceeds from the gallery show entry fees and sales from the show will go to Blossoms of Hope in honor of this wonderful Howard County resource center.
